Neocarpet’s professional methods ensure deep cleaning, fiber protection, and preservation of the carpet’s natural colors, using eco-friendly, hypoallergenic products and modern equipment.
If you choose to wash your carpet at home, carefully follow the steps below for safe and effective cleaning. Start by vacuuming thoroughly or shaking the carpet to remove dust and debris. Use a special low-foam carpet shampoo, diluted according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and clean the surface with a soft brush without using excessive amounts of water.
Once the washing process is complete, roll the carpet and place it on a slight incline so that it can drain evenly. Make sure the position of the carpet does not allow the roll to bend, crease, or become deformed. For drying, choose a shaded and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to help preserve the colors. It is important to ensure sufficient air circulation underneath the carpet as well, and the drying process should be completed within 24 hours. Ideally, select a warm day with a natural breeze for faster and safer drying.
