The Battu collection by Tzikas Carpets features machine-made all-season rugs with distinctive ethnic aesthetics and a practical construction designed for year-round use. They are made from colorfast BCF polyester yarns, which provide increased resistance to abrasion and everyday wear, making the rugs suitable even for areas exposed to higher levels of foot traffic.
The low flatweave surface provides practicality and easy everyday maintenance, while the total weight of 1,200 gsm keeps the rug functional for use in different areas of the home. The latex backing contributes to greater stability during use.
The rugs also feature antistatic properties, helping reduce the accumulation of lint, dust, and small particles on the surface and making vacuum cleaning easier and more effective. Battu rugs are hypoallergenic, health- and environmentally friendly, and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, combining durability, easy maintenance, and distinctive ethnic aesthetics.

Proper care and cleaning of rugs are essential to keep them clean, hygienic, and durable over time. For optimal results, it is recommended to trust Neocarpet Carpet Cleaning Services (+30 2130904444), where specialized cleaning, sanitizing, and drying procedures are applied, tailored to every type of rug, from wool rugs to handmade pieces.
Neocarpet’s professional methods ensure deep cleaning, protection of the fibers, and preservation of the rug’s natural colors through the use of eco-friendly, hypoallergenic products and modern equipment. If you choose to clean your rug at home, carefully follow the steps below for safe and effective cleaning.
Begin by thoroughly vacuuming or shaking the rug to remove dust and debris. Use a low-foam carpet shampoo, diluted according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and clean the surface with a soft brush without using excessive amounts of water.
Once the cleaning process is complete, roll the rug and place it at a slight angle so that excess water can drain evenly. Make sure that the rug is positioned in a way that prevents the roll from creasing or becoming deformed.
For drying, choose a shaded and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, to help preserve the rug’s colors. It is important to ensure adequate air circulation underneath the rug as well, while the drying process should be completed within 24 hours. Ideally, choose a warm day with a natural breeze for faster and safer drying.
For valuable rugs or carpets used in commercial spaces, Neocarpet is the most reliable choice. With many years of experience, modern expertise, and specialized personnel, Neocarpet offers comprehensive rug cleaning, sanitizing, and storage services, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and professional care.
